Digital technology adds intelligence to tea making
Farmers’ Daily reported on a Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University field programme serving the Baiya Qilan tea industry in Pinghe, Fujian. The report described on-site testing of a tea processing parameter collection system and identified Xiao Chaohu as a principal member of the development team.
The system records aroma-related signals, workshop temperature and humidity, and visual changes in tea leaves. The report also documented feedback from tea enterprises, agricultural specialists and the university research team.
